This class covers extinguisher types and fire classes, when to use an extinguisher vs. evacuate, basic inspection and maintenance expectations, and best practices for responding safely.\n\nThe best part is the hands on portion. You will practice using an extinguisher in a controlled setting so you can feel the real handle pressure, sweep pattern, and discharge time. That real world practice builds confidence, helps the PASS steps stick, and makes you far more prepared to act quickly and safely if a fire ever happens.\n\nWe will conduct live fire practice and extinguishing the fire, weather permitting. He holds certifications in fire alarm and fire sprinkler systems, as well as backflow testing, hydrant inspection and testing, and kitchen hood and suppression systems.
