The Community Services Committee needs volunteers to help clear a trail @ McKinney Fall State ParkThe work suggested is aiding park staff with corridor clearing for the re-route of the very popular Onion Creek trail. The work will be labor intensive. The park is located 13 miles southeast of the state capitol in Austin off of U.S. Highway 183. Take McKinney Falls Parkway from U.S. 183 South straight to the park entrance.

Breakfast tacos and water will be provided.

Incentive Participants will receive 6 hours of volunteer time!

Minimum age to volunteer is 13 years of age.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions; 10 volunteers will be attached to a Park Ranger and lead to the work area. ( this will require a bit of hiking and coordination) .
-long sleeve shirts and pants
- bottle of water
- bandana
- long pants
- eye protection ( I can provide some but have limited numbers)  
- work gloves ( I can provide some but have limited numbers)
