AAFAME is pleased to partner with Texas Ramp Project on another project requiring our volunteer expertise. The Texas Ramp Project is a nonprofit that provides free wheelchair ramps to low-income older adults and people with disabilities identified by local health care providers.
Below are 3 different volunteer opportunities available. Please sign up using the link listed below volunteering sessions.
Build Modules 1.18.22 2-4pm
Prior to the ramp build we will need volunteers to meet to cut board to dimension and prepare modules to assemble the day of the build. Tools are provided but encouraged to bring your own as well. Receive 6 hours for volunteering.
Transport Materials 1.21.22 4pm
Will need a flatbed trailer to load materials on day before and store in the warehouse. Pick up the trailer the next day to deliver to the job site. Receive 4 hours for volunteering.
Build Ramp 1.22.22 8:30 am to 2:00 pm or until finished
Assist with building ramp using materials provided and cut to size prior to the build. Tools are provided but encouraged to bring your own as well. Receive 8 hours for volunteering.
