Speaker Bio: Chris Fischer has over 16 years of experience in facilities maintenance, construction management, and utility demand-side management. Chris graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. His project portfolio includes the Dallas County Institute of Forensic Sciences, the BlueCross BlueShield of Texas HQ, various municipal water projects, as well as energy performance contracts for municipalities and universities in OK, NC, and VA. Chris worked as a contractor supporting Austin Energy’s Commercial Rebates group and has been in his current role for over 5 years managing the Commercial Demand Response (formerly Load Cooperative) Program. He is currently the Communications Director for the local chapter of the Association of Energy Engineers and is a Certified Energy Manager (CEM).
