Event Description
The goal of this course is to provide the foundations necessary to correctly identify door hardware and generate the part numbers required for ordering that hardware from the relevant supplier. During the presentation, attendees will be shown which details are essential to ordering hardware that will fit and function properly for their specific application. After covering these basics, students will be guided through select manufacturer catalogs and shown how to utilize those catalogs' how-to-order sections. Building on this, students will then have the opportunity to generate part numbers for multiple example items that they are likely to see in the field.
