Community Services: Goody Bags for Salvation Army

Description:
The Community Services Committee needs volunteers to help donate goody bags to children currently staying at the Salvation Army. They need things like DVD's, crafts, snacks, games, educational items, etc. We need items to be donated for the goody bags (see list of items needed below) which can be delivered to the Domain Tower (see schedule below). The in-person volunteer opportunities are full but we have plenty of opportunity to donate items for the bags!! Our goal is to complete 100 different packages as that is how many kids they have at this time. Please note we will not be interacting with the kids, just providing the bags.

- G & PG Rated DVD children's movies & shows (see donation list above for movie's they already have)
- Snack ideas include individually wrapped: popcorn, chips, crackers, granola bars, etc.
- Juice boxes
- Crafts from Amazon Wish List
- Games
- Educational items
- Coloring books
- Colors

Tuesday 7/21 thru Thursday 7/23 between the hours 8am to 4pm
Day of:
Please park on the second floor of the garage. We will be assembling bags on the first floor.
VOLUNTEERS MUST WEAR MASK AT ALL TIMES & DISTANCE THEMSELVES 6 FOOT FROM OTHER VOLUNTEERS.
We will only allow 10 people to volunteer per shift.
Event being held outdoors to further minimize contamination.
